We are a non-denominational church that began our ministry here in Reed City, Michigan in July of 2010. Many people have a misunderstanding of what we mean by the term
“non-denominational”, so to clarify, it only means that our church does not follow a specified doctrine, only that of the Bible.

We enjoy laughter, joy and reveling in the many gifts God gives us, especially the gift of each other. We long for our community to be all that God intended it to be. We seek to be a blessing to our wider community in any way we can.

knowledge. growth. salvation.

*We are always offering new and exciting ministries, so don’t hesitate to ask a team member what we have coming up, or suggest a ministry you would enjoy taking part in or even leading yourself!

Men's Ministry

The second Saturday of every month @ 8am, the Men meet at the church to participate in various bible studies, activities and ministries. The purpose of MM, is to meet the spiritual, and emotional needs of men at New Beginnings, and within our community. This ministry is designed to encourage men to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen friendships with other men, and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community for Christ.

The Restoration Place

Tuesdays from 7pm-8pm, licensed counselor, Mary Jo Shepard, leads a restoration meeting, for those who have been hurt, have a habit, or a hang up.

Community Outreach

We are currently collecting items to be donated to different outreach programs, including the Military, a local homeless shelter, and the Reed City Hospital. Please ask Angie Tower if there is anything you can do to help!

Teaching the Word of God, resulting in knowledge, growth and salvation, throughout the community and surrounding areas.

Core Values

Knowledge, growth and salvation, a never ending cycle that helps to build and maintain a relationship with Christ.

When you get ready to come to New Beginnings, dress however you feel most comfortable. We do not have a dress code and you will find most of our guests dressed in a way that is the most comfortable to them.

Our parking lot is on the west side of our building and connects to the Reed City High School parking lot. Parking is also allowed in the street on W. Church Avenue. When you come inside, feel free to mingle and get to know us.

When you are ready to sit down, sit wherever you'd like. We do not have assigned seating, so you won't be "taking" anyone's seat.

If you have children, be sure to ask about our Nursery and Children's Church Program.

Our musical worship is led by our blessed worship team.

The Message

The Word! The primary focus of our Sunday Message is receiving knowledge from the Word and responding to it through the way we live our lives.

After the service, stick around for some conversation, coffee and snacks. Who knows, you might get lucky and it'll be potluck day!

Oh! and before you leave, don't forget to pick up the kids! We have a lost and found, but you wouldn't want your kids left there all week, now would you?
